We have a vacancy for someone to join us as part of our team.
Retail experience preferred as is knowledge of knitting and patchwork.
Hours are to be agreed and will include some Saturday working in addition to weekdays.

New Fabrics and New Kits

Now everyone has recovered from the festivities, deliveries of new fabrics are arriving and first through the door was Noddy. A bright and cheerful collection featuring Noddy and his friends. More deliveries are due to arrive next week.
We have also added to our range of kits with a patchwork cushion made in linen, scented hearts and also a quilted cushion with candlewick embroidery. Full details are available on the appropriate sections of this website,

NEW QUILT GROUP

Our new Patchwork & Quilting Group. QCCQuilters is up and running!
We got off to a lovely start last week with very close to a full house.
The venue proved to be ideal, plenty of room, light, warm with an adjacent car park.
We will meet on alternate Tuesday evenings beginning 10th January 2012,6.4pm5-9-15pm at Old Woodhouse Community Hall, Forest Road, Woodhouse.

We aim to provide somewhere for you to come along, relax and work on your own projects within a friendly group, beginners and more experienced quilters alike.

The cost for the period from January to Easter is £24.50 which equates to £3.50 per evening. There is no additional cost for car parking and there is a large car park next to the hall.

Places are limited so if you are interested, please contact the shop for more details. We are holding a waiting list and as more places become available, we will be in touch.

THE WAIT IS OVER!!!

It seems like so long ago we were informed that a new machine was being launched, and it has been keep under wraps for so long....was it worth the wait??? OH YES!! Like nothing before, PFAFF have created a new dimension in Creative Sewing.
We now have ours in the shop and have played on it as often as possible...
(to be honest you can't get me off it!)
It is truly an absolute pleasure to work with, whether you work in voiles and silks, to denim and leather..Rayon thread, Matallic and slither, the results are always the same...PERFECTION!...and thread breakages are no problem!

With Christmas round the corner, pop in and have a play....and make sure its at the top of your Christmas List!!!!!
