We stock a variety of waddings and are happy to cut pieces to a size of your choice. The roll widths are from 36 to 128 inches so even king size can be catered for. Please telephone or e-mail with your requirements and we can advise you of the price.
100% COTTON WADDING Unique needle punching and subsequent manufacturing techniques make this wadding easy to quilt and it keeps it's shape wash after wash. Available unbleached or bleached, this wadding now goes through an ultra cleaning process which extracts a greater percentage of leaves and stems. Pre-wash prior to quilting if required. shrinkage is 3-5%
80/20 HEIRLOOM PREMIUM(80% cotton)is unbleached and can be hand or machine quilted, 4-6 inches apart. A dream wadding for the quilter, the blend is lightly needlepunched and resinated giving more loft than 100& cotton wadding which in turn gives more definition to your stitches.Pre-wash if required prior to quilting, shrinkage is 3-5%
2oz POLYDOWN WADDING is 100% resin bonded siliconised polyester fibres. The resin bonding reduces bearding and is perfect for hand or machine quilting. Shrinkage - Nil
4oz SOFT & BRIGHT is needlepunched and can be tied, machined or hand quilted up to 10 inches apart. No glues or resins are used to hold the fibres together. Shrinkage - Nil
2oz POLYESTER (economy)is 100% polyester.
Perfect for cot quilts, cushions etc. Washable and perfect for both machine & hand quilting. Shrinkage - Nil
THERMOLAM Needle-punched, polyester insulated wadding ideal for oven gloves, tea cosies, pot holders, ironing board covers etc. Reflects the heat or cold back to source. Shrinkage - Nil
FUSIBLE COTTON WADDING If you find basting a chore, with this product it is possible to temporarily attach top and bottom fabrics to the wadding by using an iron. As this is not a permanent attachment, you can re-position if needed.
This is an 80/20 cotton/polyester mix which quilts wonderfully. |
